Hello, this is the laptop I bought last week:

It's been great so far, apart from once my fans reach full speed, they don't slow down again, even after an hour with my laptop having no programmes running.

I've been monitoring the temperatures since i bought it, as my last laptop had problems with overheating.

My laptop gets down to 40'c for core 1, and down to 32'c for core 4, My GPU down to 30.

With the fans still on full blast, is there a way to get this right? as they are pretty damn loud for browsing the internet.

Thanks.

You could try to view your fan profiles, they should be in the bios settings when you boot up your laptop. They might be set quite sensitively such that the fans are on 100% at 30 degrees (unlikely, but it is possible). I guess the fact that it doesn't happen until the fans reach full speed makes this a little different though.

Failing that, I'd recommend calling PCS about the issue, I'm not sure if there has been a fix but there are other threads on this forum for similar issues and checking the final few pages out doesn't shine much light on the problem.

I get a similar issue after closing a game. I need to restart or log off/log in back again and the fans slow down.
