I'll assume you mean games average in their graphical and computing demand rather than in their overall quality! What games are we talking here?

Regardless, a 840m will barely allow you to game anything.

Yeah think the 950 M is a must for Quake live and newish games at average resolutions as I don't see the point of playing ultra settings on a laptop

I play a lot of supreme commander 2 and Doom 3

It's some technical issue with the site with this model's Screen Selector.

Update: If you're not getting an SSD then you should get a Scorpio Black HDD, the difference between 7200RPM and 5400RPM is noticeable.

In case you're wondering, I got a response from PCS as to why there are two identical screens, one free and one for £49.
IF you don’t choose a graphics card and use the onboard graphics card, you have to pay £49 for the screen. If you choose a graphics card, you get the screen free of cost.
