Laptop powering off

Hi guys,

Why do these things happen when you have no time to deal with them?!

Mum's laptop that she's had since last August decided to power itself off this morning. After a few attempts to see if it'd stay on, it kept doing it, even in Safe Mode (was going to try and roll it back).

The only symptom she saw and indeed I saw were 2 of the leds (next to the wifi led...pic below) came on, bit of beeping and then off.

This is a Genesis IV, hers is a Genesis III, but the layout looks the same from the image.

It is those 2 lights, and I cannot make out the symbol above them (like the wifi light has a wifi thingy above).

As I say, I am short on time now, but hopefully someone might have a bright idea and I shall check back on Sunday/Monday. Will ofc go down the support avenue (well she will :) )if required, but just sods law it happens today!
