The Vyper was essentially recalled as had an issue on battery affecting performance due to voltage irregularities with the battery.

The Vyper 3 was the 15 inch version? That seemed to be the only Tong Fang laptop of last generation that worked!
was that just when operating on battery mode?

Yeh but that was just the 17 inch variant. There were other problems with it too.

As they’re not sold anymore, I take it the OP is interested in perhaps purchasing second hand? If so be aware you need to get the warranty transferred to your name by the seller, otherwise you can’t create an account with PCS and will have no access to drivers or support.
i am interested to know the other problems to stay away from them please.
please could u also tell me what the policy for pc specialist in the case u buy a new laptop and has this sort of problems. would they recall it and give you the option to switch with a different one?

They stopped sales of it and refunded anyone who took that option.
But PCS don’t sell it anymore so you can’t buy it.
