This will appeal to anyone who enjoys reading comics, does 3d modeling or just enjoy a good laugh.
A rl mate and i are involved in something called "Project Lara". This started the latter part of last year using a program called "Xna Lara" created by a guy called Dusan.
The program enables you to use models, props and scenery from most of the previous tomb raider games, including underworld and legend, and then create a comic with a story line (using photoshop). Ive helped him with some story elements, characters (including names, peronsalities and looks) and had alot of input here and there. The modeling and general speech though is down to him.
We have now moved over to using daz3d and we feel that the story, look and content have reached an all time high.
The story follows Lara Croft on an adventure with her butlers neice Tuesday Fox, a happy but fiesty young teenager. As the adventure continues they come across all sorts of dangers, interesting people and villians.
I have added a link to the website version below, however please be adviced that it does have adult themes & content, some nudity (very little) and some language (alot has been "***" but a fair bit has been kept in to keep the pictures atmosphere) it also contains masses and masses of childish humor which take the mick out of just about everything that exists in the world including the fantastic characters we have spend hours in making, so if these things are the sort of thing that may offend you then it might not be a good idea to have a look. However it doesnt contain and XXX stuff and we have a 15 rating on the front page. Which we feel is sufficient for the comic at this present time. The comic is in no way to be taken seriously by anybody and its just a hobby, a great use of a powerful pc and a great way to appricate 3D renders.
To sum the comic up in a few sentence it is a parady of life, very stereo typical and contains enough humor to make even the most depressed souls smile.
Alot of effort has gone into this comic as well as hundreds and hundreds of hours to. Chapters 1-3 are using the old software and chapters 4-7 are using DAZ 3D but its all the same story.

This is one of the scenes where our lovable villian is in the USA with Tuesday Fox, as you can see Gerrard has a tendancy to spend other peoples money and his villiany doesnt end there

Pictures take anything from 2-8 hours to complete (with photoshop editing and adding effects etc...)
We've had such a laugh creating this comic that we thought that we would share it with anyone who might be interested as well as all our real life friends.
The website is updated as and when the pictures are done so if you look at it and like it dont forget to check back every now and then for updates.
