Ok so I'm having a bit of a sort out as I'm having to move out of my flat shortly, and pulled an old HP PC from under the bed (this was the donor for the OS on the Berserker) took the hard drives out of it prior to taking it to the tip, and pulled this stick of memory out of curiosity, it's got 4 of these in it, so a whopping 8 GB of RAMšŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

JKust googled it and these are its specs:

I have annual clear-outs of my 'tech'...and each year stuff in 'box 3' goes to the skip; stuff in 'box 2' goes into 'box 3' and stuff in 'box 1' goes into 'box 2'.

If I need something I take it out so it's not in any box...so things I never use will be dumped after about 3 years...but 'box 3' is more like 'attic' at the moment.

I haven't got any embarrassing PCs to share unfortunately, as I've had Macs since 1990-ish.

Although I'm not anti-Windows, it's just what I was paid to work with in the commercial DTP sector (starting with Aldus Pagemaker, then Quark Express, Aldus Freehand, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, etc.) doing magazine layouts, catalogues, graphic design, posters, marketing materials, annual reports, etc.

Plus there was also the expectation from some projects to offer the same level of design but only using their limited software packages...i.e. Microsoft Office or Lotus Smartsuite.
