Leaving your pc on all the time

Good vid but he didn't cover shock loading. The shock on any electrical circuit is quite the surge initially. It adds up over time, in the same way as lightbulbs tend to pop during switch on :)

My PC is in my bedroom. I like to be able to sleep at night, so I have to switch it off. I guess alternatively I could go into iCUE and Armory Crate each evening to turn all the RGB off, but that's a bit of a hassle!

If you don't need it on, there's no point in having it on really.

The only reason mine is on is through laziness. Previously I had it set to sleep with a WOL command. It was temperamental though as any LAN query at all would wake it up.... regardless of port. I never got to the bottom of it so I just gave up and left it on.
