Linux Laptop

Hello.
Being a Linux user family I wanted a new laptop for my daughter for her uni work so I have just got this one for her for xmas. (see spec below).

We use PCLinuxOS

I had no problems installing pclinuxos KDE minime 2012.8 (this is mainly for advanced users).

I also tried pclinuxos KDE 2012.12 (for newer users) and pclinuxos LXDE 2012.12 with no problems.
Also worked DSL,Mint, Mepis, Cenos, Debian, Manerva.

If you do try Any Linux distro on your computer and have problems it's best to join the forums of the distro to ask for help, the pclinux forum is so helpful .

So I have gone to a lot of trouble to promote PC Specialist Ltd laptops on a lot of other forums and this is how you treat your forum users, I will let the owners of this site PC Specialist Ltd know about this. .
I wanted to point out there are more Linux distro's that Ubuntu that a lot of your forum users keep trying that why I wanted to put the links in to PCLinuxOS..

Note: I do not work for PCS, I am just a volunteer moderator, I took the links out because they looked like advertising to me and advertising is against the forum rules.
If people want to see the distro info, you have given the distro name which I left in the original post, they can easily Google it if they want to, I only took out the links.
