linux only build query

Still living in the victorian era I am not into gaming, except perhaps Railway Tycoon. I'm currently about 7yrs behind the curve. I am interested in building a linux desktop, running Ubuntu LTS which will replace my current lenovo HP50-windows platform. I have built physical windows computers in the past and remote linux servers on ovh and suchlike. I want to build a 100% linux system which will do me me for basic photo/video editing and building local machine wordpress/cms sitebuilding for later uploading to places like vultr ocean etc. What compatible hardware setup could someone suggest for a modest budget sub £1000. (ideally with upgrade options and ability to run several vesa monitors. The rig is likely to outlive me. I seriously do want to go 100% linux.

We can only advise on PCSpecialist builds which are full systems that come fully assembled. But we must advise that Linux isn't supported.
