Logitech Z333 2.1 speakers not powering on...any thoughts?

Last night, my speakers were fine. I plugged my headset into the speaker controller to play a game before bed, and I left the PC on overnight to download. When I came back this morning, my speakers won't power up. Windows still recognises sound being played through my speakers but there's no sound or green light on the controller to show that they're working.

I've switched the plug into a different outlet on my extension tower and no luck. Have I blown a fuse or something?

That's the first thing to check is the fuse in the speaker plug.

No power light on the volume controller, nope.

Must have died then.

You can create an RMA with either PCSpecialist or Logitech or both, I'd start with PCS and then if it's not still covered, try logitech.

I've had a lot of success with Logitech RMA's in the past, they replaced a keyboard with battery issues for me for a brand new one after a couple of years of ownership, and the same with 2 pairs of headphones where the chassis crumbled after multiple years, they just replaced them no questions asked.

Damn, only had them for 2 months...

Thanks for the advice. Already sent a tech support ticket to PCS but may just get an RMA done anyways to get the ball rolling.

Yeah, I’d just create an RMA with PCS straight off, if it’s only been 2 months they’ll likely just send a replacement set to you for next day delivery.

Link to this thread in the RMA (just copy and paste the browser address) and they can see what you’ve tried.
