This is what im thinking. but swapping out 3080 for 3070ti. any more suggestions. i know i cna get 5600x which will be very similar but im undecided

You could drop the motherboard down to the X570.Do you really need the 3070TI over the 3070? If you dropped down to the 3070 there are some other areas that could be tweaked. the cooler selected is an older version that is less controllable. Ideally you want want the H100i Elite Capellix in that case or the H115i equivalent in a bigger case, but they are out of stock at present.

Just putting this out there… You really won’t need the 3070Ti for 1440p 144Hz gaming.

As is common knowledge amongst the forum regulars, I have a FE 3070 and it’s paired up with a 1440p 144Hz ultrawide monitor. That’s around 30% more pixels than a standard 1440p 27 inch monitor and I’m getting great visuals with high frame rates.

The Ti version might net me another five frames per second and a bit of added draw distance but in no way is it worth the added £105. For a non ultrawide screen, even less so, you’ll be crushing it with the standard 3070.
