Making the switch - clueless about PCs. Send help!

Hi guys,

With my t.v breaking recently and my love for gaming slowly falling off, I’ve decided I want to rekindle my love and not waste my limited cash on a new t.v for my Xbox.

I’ve teased myself with the idea of a PC for years and never actually touched one for anything other than work. Now I want one for gaming. However, I’m a clueless idiot who doesn’t have the intellectual requirement or time to understand everything that is needed to buy an efficient, cost-effective PC (though I have tried).

This is where you guys come in... I’m after a PC that doesn’t rise beyond £1300, it must include a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse. And I absolutely love the RGB look, sorry! I play mostly FPS games with hints of Fifa -.- and GTA! (I could also use it to do some work on, BUT it isn’t that important)

If people could send links to a build which is sufficient enough for the required gaming experience, I will greatly appreciate it! Any more information needed, just ask and I’ll try my best to answer!

Thankyou in advance,
cleggy22.

RGB case, RAM, and LED strip. Fast RAM, and decent CPU that should be fairly futureproof. GTX 1660 Super + 1080p 144hz monitors should do well in FPS, and also GTA for that matter. Monitor has adaptive sync which you can enable on your Nvidia GPU.

I'd have added the Cooler Master MS110 KB+M but it's out of stock. You8 can pick up budget (~£25-50) peripherals sets from your favourite online retailer though :) Whatever you like the look of and gets good customer reviews.

As for the kind of performance to expect, look up benches of the GTX 1660 super. e.g.
