Welcome to our forums. :)

1. The 17" Vortex II can definitely support 16GB RAM.

2. Our prices are as competitive as possible already.:)

3. Unfortunately there are currently no 6 core processors available for the Vortex II series laptops.

4. The laptop is designed to be connected to a power source rather than for portability (as it's power hungry) and based on this can render for as long as needed.

5. We can't gurantee delivery unless you order a fast track service, but there's a good chance it will be delivered before 9th April if you order now.

We can only provide as estimated lead time for your laptop, currently 5 to 7 working days. This is an estimated lead time, not a guaranteed one.

OC are not advised on Laptops. For a stable OC you need it to be cool, with plenty of fans & airflow, laptops are possibly the worst environment you could attempt an OC (in my opinion). No doubt, people will have overclocked a laptop but I really wouldn't advise it.

Heya

I've ordered my laptop last monday. But yesterday started to fiddle around with ssd driver and reviews since my laptop is still in pre-production and probably wont be released until 11-15 April - ealiest :/ . I've decided to chenge my 120gb ocz vertex 2 to 120 gb intel 510 ssd. Now I've read few more reviews and chat chat with my hi-tech friends that says that a ocz series 2 is better and I should go back - Argh... should I ?

Do u guys agree?

Also they also mention stuff about ocz 3 series... what should I do ? - Can I even get ocz 3 ?

Confused... :/

Thanx, bye.

I would stick with the Intel 510 series SSD - they're generally more stable, especially on laptops and the 510 series are the fastest Intel drives available.
