i dont know how diffcult this would be to set up but ive on head-fi forums if you start a thread you get an email letting you know someone has answered you. its easier than checking any threads you started

Click New Posts about 200 times a day and you dont miss any threads with little green blobs on them (meaning you posted in them)...

...oh yeh, like i'm the only one!

You can 'subscribe' to threads, or configure it under your forum account settings to automatically subscribe. This will result in what you wish.
