Thank you. Would you ever consider three curved monitors as I see ASU’s to 32” curved ones. And am I right in thinking to get above 60hz need to use display port? If the 3080 then it has 3dp with just one remaining hdmi?
You can use later generations of HDMI for more than 60Hz, especially at 1440p. But the 3080 has three display port outputs, which is all you need.

I think three curved monitors would look a little weird and have poor viewing angles, while the 32" displays may be a touch large for that resolution. 27" is the ideal for a 1440p display.

I would probably have opted for the 5900X, X570 motherboard and 1000W RMX PSU. I would definitely have gone for the H115i but the 100 should do the job reasonably well too.

I definitely wouldn't have opted for that case though, I've never been a fan of it. Choices are thin on the ground though so everything I would tend to choose bumps the price up.

I'm sure it'll do a fine job though, miles better than what you currently have.

For the display, it would have to be the G9 for me. It has such presence and with FS2020 it would look absolutely stunning. With 1920 pixels high you're just not getting the proper depth. Even the 3080Ti wouldn't run 3x4k screens in a playable fashion.

Have you considered VR?

Really appreciate the feedback, I’m not really fussed at all about the case as I will never see it, also glad you agree on the g9 just looks pricey for what I see as just two monitors. Maybe I just have no experience of just how much better graphics can look.

I haven’t at all really, is it an expensive option, and do you just need a headset and the great pc?
To be honest I'm building a PC similar to yours for MFS for VR, I have the headset but I can't afford the computer. In Italy, where I live, a quest 2 120 GB is like 350 euro. Search some videos on youtube with MFS in VR, it might change your mind and save you some money with a expensive monitor.

Being fussed about the looks of the case wasn't what I meant. It's not a brilliant design for airflow and to get a decent level of airflow it makes a bit of noise through that weird front.

Youre in one of these really awkward positions where if the world wasn't the way it was right now you could have it all for your budget.... but as things stand you're a little bit short of perfection (all my opinion)

Vr for FS2020 needs the Index VR to do properly, but to get warmed up the Quest 2 is the best bang for your buck. It'll give you wireless VR with some tweaking and a software purchase (Virtual Desktop)

Keep an eye on the G9 over the next 7 days. If you see it under £999 that it's at just now.... jump on it.
