Hi
I am looking to get a mini pc built for my brother as a xmas present and need some advice.
I need help in choosing something that will be as small as possible but also as cool and quiet as possible too.
Now i dont need any ridiculous specs as all he would like is something that is capable of 1080p 60fps on most modern games.
He already has a kb/mouse and all the other bits and bobs he needs so its just a system he needs.
Budget wise is as cheap as possible as i am paying LOL ,but also i would like quality parts so am ready to pay what is required.

Thank you for any help.

What does as cheap as possible mean to you?

We need a maximum budget to work to, bear in mind a quiet rig costs more as it requires more expensive components.

Around £1500ish.
That's totally do-able. The system below should give you a decent 1080p 60hz experience. What I'd personally recommend (providing you have the space) instead of going specifically Small Form Factor, getting a smaller ATX case, which allows for better cooling along with more flexibilty for upgrades and support for beefier hardware. This spec is quite a way under budget but it gives you a solid base you can then upgrade from if you wanted to add things like more/ faster storage, larger PSU etc etc.

Lovely spec from @JUNI0R. As for the iCue 220T, it’s one of the best small ATX cases out there but not everyone has had the same experience as me with it. Some have reported loud front fans that sound as though the thing is getting ready to take off. Unlike me, they’ve had theirs arrive on full power, which is easily remedied with Fan Xpert 4 from Asus. That will allow you to set a curve so that your tower gently hums when it’s doing the day to day stuff, and then crank up when you start pushing a load onto the system.
