i understand that changing anything in the laptop would make the warranty void. I just wanted to know if twas possible to change the vortex if need be, like you can with the enigma III 540.

If you don't want to spend as much money and want a portable laptop you can wait for the Optimus 15.6" to come out. I guess if you can afford the Vortex go for that one.
