Missing monitor part

[Monitor problem]

I just received my new PC this morning and it appears to be missing a part to make the monitor stand up. I have the

PCS BD24 23.8" IPS MONITOR​

The part I am missing is circled in red. I have the bar that inserts into it.

Is this a mistake or is it something which is sold separately? It appears on the box art and there was nothing to indicate it was sold separately.

No, it should be included. If you're 100% sure it's not tucked in the box packaging, contact PCS and they'll send one out to you.
