Money saving strategy

Hey guys

I have currently been saving for my new gaming PC and after searching the forums, I have seen people buy amazing, but expensive PC's. Being young my income is very limited, but what do you other people do?

Saving methods?

What jobs let you afford to buy a awsome PC?

Right now I save from pocket money ( £15-£20 a week )
Do random jobs ( cut grass etc.. )
Sell old games on ebay

Lucky for me I'll start getting paid next year to go to school, £40 a week!!!

well not everyone on here is in school or whatever. i would say most people on here have a job even if they are at a minimal paid job / living at home still they would need prob 2-4 months depending if they pay there parents for rent / prob other bills e.g phone contracts / car payoffs and other stuff so prob take them a little longer. if ya get what i mean. luckily i don't have a phone contract.

well for an average gaming pc you are kinda looking at prob £700-£800 average possibly
that means not going for for top spec stuff.

the pc i ordered for was just under £1500 but mainly high spec hardware

i would say this would prob be a decent PC for a average when you could afford it. it came to like £763 without monitor / keyboard / mouse

but the prices may come down a bit by then but some more hardware would prob be out probably when you order so these may be down in price

if anyone could do a slightly cheaper price but same performance correct me, but you could use some older cores or go AMD which are cheaper than Intel slightly
