Monitor Guidance - No Idea Where to Start

Hi all

Looking to match a screen to this spec, but I have absolutely no idea where to start.

Casual gaming use and also need to be able to be used as a second screen (extended from Laptop) for working from home 3 days per week.

It cannot be larger than 27” as desk space is at a premium (when working with the laptop) so it will also need built in speakers, unless an alternative space saving speaker suggestion can be made…

Any ideas?

Budget is in the £300-400 range but with potential Black Friday deals, this could be a little flexible

3070 is best paired with a 1440p 144Hz+ monitor mate, just search 27" 1440p 144Hz IPS and have a look

Both great picks, I think the MSI monitor has been discounted to £400 or below in previous Prime Day / Black Friday deals so fingers crossed it gets discounted this time around.

It's a little on the older side now (roughly 2 years old), not that that's a bad thing at all, merely stating that especially combined with Black Friday, you should find some serious deals on that one.

I'm a huge fan of Dells, I've had 2 now, and they've both been superb.

Absolutely. But I've not seen it in stock anywhere for months...

Found the Dell S2721DGF on a Black Friday deal for £259 on Very this morning…wasn’t going to wait at that price!

Now showing as sold out and the next closest price with stock I can find is via a 3rd Party on Amazon for £338 with Amazon paying for £18 of that (don’t think that is a Black Friday offer)

Will arrive well in advance of the new build PC as that is currently waiting delivery of the RTX3070

Now has anyone got any suggestions for speakers (sound bar) that don’t take up much desk space?

Congratulations, that's a pretty good bargain for a great monitor!

What's you budget for the soundbar / speakers?
