Monitor scaling query

Our current monitor is 24" with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. One user uses scaling of 125% and another uses 150% for ease of reading text. I am considering buying a 25" QHD monitor with a native resolution of 2560 x 1440. What is the equivalent scaling percentage for this monitor to produce text of a similar size to that of the one in use? Will the dpi number be greater and will the text be sharper? Will all programs work satifactorily with this percentage upscaling and how will picture quality compare if the additional Control/+ is used for individual websites?

That's pretty specific. Unlikely many people have exactly the same experience as you, at least on a single forum like PCS's.

You should be able to get the text scaled up how you want it, as you can set custom scaling, not just using the 25% intervals Windows offers by default. I have this 32" 1440p monitor set to 110% for instance.

Scaling the text / UI up is a little bit like using a lower resolution, since you're letting the screen display less. You'd want to have uses for the PC that didn't get scaled up for it to be worth buying a higher resolution.

Or, buy a bigger 1440p monitor
