Motherboard with wifi

The asus P8z77 v and v pro both say wifi, sli etc. I am assuming that the wifi means a card can be attached to the motherboard rather than having to be plugged in via USB. Is this reasoning correct.
Thanks in advance .

All the machines that PCS sell can use a wireless network card rather than a USB one (dependent on space and what else you have in the machine of course)

I believe the Wifi bit on the motherboards just means they can be used as WiFi hotspots rather than actually connecting to your router via wireless, but I could be horribly wrong.
