I was wondering if anybody has come across this before. My USB mouse and keyboard randomly freeze. It started about 2 weeks ago and is getting more and more frequent now and is most annoying whilst gaming but can occur anytime. I've tried unplugging them an plugging them back in and to different ports but no luck. I've also tried different mouse & keyboards but they do the same. The ports still function as any lights stay on and if I plug a hard drive in the light on that comes in but it is not recognised by the PC. The PC still runs whilst this is happening I just have no input. The event log shows no errors or warnings at the times. I haven't had it happen in safe mode yet but it is random and can sometimes go hours without happening. Any advice would be much appreciated its getting very frustrating now.
