Will I be able to run MS flight sim 2020 on a Fusion XT? Does it have windows loaded?

Just to confirm this is the spec your after -

That base spec will run MSFS 2020 at 1080p , however if you give us a budget and let us know what monitor you are using we can spec you a build which is more suitable.

If you are a really into MS FS 2020 then you will likely want more RAM than that spec too, BUT have a look here and consider letting us know all your details as @Resistance100 mentions and the info requested in the post I link below as its likely someone can put a good spec together for you:

It is a Samsung Generic PnP monitor. How long would this take? Windows 10 !!
How long will what take? Have you got a plane to catch?

If you want to get the best value for your money then I suggest just having a quick read of that link I provided and providing some more details like budget and other usage and someone will put together a good system and recommend / advise on future potential upgrade path too.

Wait time for build currently takes about 16-18 working days, then the rest of the process will be less than a week. This is assuming all the parts are in stock and not on pre-order. All PC's come with Window's 10 unless you specifically opt out in the build options.

We can definitely better spec a PC for you if you're able to give us some information

The monitor - Do you know the specific model, OR resoloution AND refresh rate
What's your budget, and do you need any pheripherals in that budget (keyboard, mouse, monitor)
Use case - Is MSFS the only thing you'll be doing with it?

Thanks for the help, I have just ordered a Aero Supreme. Will this be ok or should I have modified my order, I want to keep to a budget
of about £1,200. I am 83 and not a gamer but a flying nut. Full size glider pilot,(not active) and I fly RC model jet aircraft. this is my first
forum and I am c**p at typing. I only want MS fs 2020 to be at least as good as the system recommended by MS. What do you think?
Kind regards, Mike.

Hey Mike! It's awesome to hear of someone your age getting into PC Gaming, even if it's just one game we hope you enjoy it! And welcome to the forum!

It'll be a good build but there are still ways we could optimise it for your budget. It also seems the graphics card the system specs is out of stock so would be interesting to see what you got instead. If you'd like us to suggest changes you'll have to show us your full spec

You can show us the specs by logging into your account on the PCS site > going to your account (it should take you here as soon as you log in) > finding the order details section on your account page > on your order press the green button that says show > Scroll to the bottom and press 'post spec to forum' > Copy from the word Case to the end of the link at the bottom > then paste it in a text box here!

This sounds confusing but I have just broken it into lots of little steps to make it as easy as possible

No worries. I realised after sending the message I was actually looking at a different PC, so that's my bad. If you're wanting to make changes to your purchase you'll have to log into your account, either that or you could call them and talk through what you want to change. If you're unable to log in to make changes and have to call them, I thought I'd let you know that currently phone wait times are long. I'd recommend calling them at 9AM on Monday to avoid being in a big long queue. Or you could call them now if you're able to sit on hold and do other things, you'll just want to make sure you don't run out of minutes if you're calling from a mobile and they won't charge you a premium rate for calling the PCS support number.

Below is the suggested build and the changes I'd make to your build to get it there:

-Change the Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 5 3600X
-Change the motherboard to the Asus TUF B550-PLUS
-Change the RAM from 16gb 2400MHz to 16gb 3200Mhz
-Change the graphics card from an RX580 to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super
-Remove 1st and 2nd storage drive (at the bottom there is an option for 'not required'
-Add 512GB PCIe SSD to M.2 SSD Drive option (If the PC is for only Flight sim, this should be enough storage, if you plan to do other stuff this might need changing)
-Change PSU to RM650W
-Change the Wireless Network Card to the 2nd £19 one. if you use a cable for your internet this can be removed to save budget
-Remove antivirus software, it's been known to cause issues and Windows Defender is better anyway
-Upgrade to the silver warranty
All those changes take the price to £1,207 which is just a tiny bit over your £1,200 budget.

Let me know how it goes and if you run into any issues, I'll be happy to help!

You might be cutting it fine with that Storage. Flight Sim is a big game (150GB just for the base with no updates) and there will be plenty of content added over the years. It would be worth going for 1tb especially with windows on the same drive.

For another £45 or so this is definitely worth it!

You'll have to make them. I'm just another member of the forum and have no access to PC Specialists systems. If you're still unable to log in, I'd recommend calling them on Saturday or Monday at 9AM to reduce the likelihood you need to queue for hours.

Here is the new list of changes recommended after @Resistance100 recommended increasing the storage space. The new price should be £1,251 when all said and done

-Change the Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 5 3600X
-Change the motherboard to the Asus TUF B550-PLUS
-Change the RAM from 16gb 2400MHz to 16gb 3200Mhz

If you can afford it and you are mainly only going to be playing FS2020, I recommend going to 32GB RAM.

Hey Mike, sorry for the late reply. That's a shame about the graphics card. I'd recommend changing the current one to the 8GB AMD RADEON™ RX 5500 XT (you'll have to scroll down a little to find it) as it will give you a considerably better experience than the card that is currently in the system. Were you able to get all the other changes done?
