My first new laptop ever: Lafite Pro Series 14"

Got the recommendation from a friend in regards to PCSpecialist. Went on the website and it was everything I wanted (I know it might sound cheesy, but it is what it is). Configured the machine, placed the order and got the laptop. Same configuration would have cost more than 3000 euros by buying a famous brand. But why buy a BMW and have no money for gas, when you can buy a Honda and pump it up with the latest and greatest tech?!?!? no brainer! Plus, this is the best customer service EVER! Thank you folks and keep it up!

Hi Purplewakand,
Eighteen months ago I also looked at the 14" Lafite Pro and the 14" Fusion to get a laptop for my granddaughters schoolwork. The specification for both laptops are very similar although they have changed over time. Any small differences will determine which one you would choose.
Open the configurator for one of the laptops and open the 'detailed specification'. Scroll down to the battery and power lead section and you will see that the typical battery life is 'up to 7 hours' for both laptops. However, this value can vary considerably depending on use.
Vadbur chose the Fusion and gets a max of 5 hours. Cosmin chose the Lafite Pro and is very happy with his. FWIW I chose the Fusion for my grandaughter (for reasons unconnected with battery life) but she usually keeps it plugged in.

Your choice.
