Never configured a gaming PC before. I was bored with the XBX and PS5 now, so I thought of just getting a gaming PC instead. Initially I ordered the Dell Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition with RTX3080 but I heard a lot of issues that comes with it (thermals, harder to upgrade in the future etc.). So I cancelled the order and got the below instead!

Any thoughts?

Agree with @SpyderTracks very solid looking build!

You could also arguably swap the 1TB Firecuda for a slightly smaller but faster 500GB 980 Pro and the Samsung SATA SSD for an M.2 but they’re all pretty minor things in the scheme of things.

Also I must ask, as you’ve got a beastly 3080Ti, what monitor will it be hooked up to?

I have three options for monitor @JUNI0R but will mainly be using it with my Dell Alienware AW3821DW. I also have a Samsung CRG9 which I use for work and I have a LG CX OLED TV.

Also good shout on the hard drives. I might actually do that - changing it to 500GB 980 Pro as my boot drive which I will not be using much and then change to a Corsair M.2 - the total costs ended up about the same and I have to just pay 1 EUR extra.

What a ridiculous, stupid monitor. I'm a big fan.

Seriously your system looks great, especially with the tweaks suggested, and it'd knock spots off the Dell you previously ordered.

Haha which monitor are you referring to? The Dell?

I would swap the Corsair MP400 for an Intel 670p to get a much better write endurance. Make sure not to pick a different Intel m.2 drive, as the others have poor write endurance.

I had a doozy a while back where I got pin outs on a headset entirely wrong and sent the poster down a real maze of totally incorrect troubleshooting, I was desperate to take it down but they made me leave up! It is burnt in my memory!

And seeing as we’re on it, I left BullGuard in one day on a spec. Six months later and it still occasionally gets brought up 😑
