You're working from a false assumption in thinking that 32GB now will future proof you for the next 5 to 7 years. You're assuming that all the other PC components will run future applications well - but they won't.
RAM might be a bottleneck in the future but CPU performance and graphics performance most certainly will be.
You'll have wasted a load of cash buying RAM now that you might need in 5 to 7 years only to find that whilst your (now aged) PC has enough RAM for the new applications the rest of your rig is woefully underpowered.[/b]
