The BSOD Doctor
What will it be used for?
What did that come to, and what's your budget?

Why 32GB of RAM? If you have some memory hungry software then fair enough, but for gaming and geneal use it's way overkill.

Why the Optane? You have a decent SSD for Windows and programs and most user data doesn't need the performance boost you (might) get from Optane (I can explain why if you want me to). The main exception is high-res images, Optane will benefit loading those (probably - because there's no guarantee with cached storage). I'm not convinced that Optane is cost effective for most users.

Just be aware that another PCS customer found that the instantaneous current draw at switch on using that 1000w PSU would trip his mains breaker. If you look that PSU up you'll find it's a common issue. The PCS user solved it by installing a UPS to handle the inrush current. Do you really need that much available power?

Thanks for your advice!!
I want a PC that can be used for VR, high gaming resolutions and with the rhino x56 flightstik. In my old PC I had a power issue so I opted for 1000w. If is too much I can switch to 850w.

Thanks again!

Normally I buy PC to be used well at least 5-7 years without modifications.
Thanks again!

1000w is definitely overkill, 650w is enough for this build, but go 850w if you plan to overclock. Also i would change 32gb RAM for 16gb but faster clock speed. 3000 or 3200

Thanks again!

I have modified the order with 850w and a 512mb ssd instead of 256 mb. The differences between 2600 ram and 3000/3200 is a lot in terms of system improvement?

What monitor are you gaming on? What resolutions and refresh rates?

I'd suggest you wait a few days for AMD to announce their Zen 2 CPUs. Announcement expected 27/28 May. See what we know then.

If you're gaming at 4k it's likely the best option for you now would be an AMD Ryzen CPU + RTX 2080 ti rather than i9 + 2080. And with AMD's new CPUs thay could be even more true.

Normally I buy PC to be used well at least 5-7 years without modifications.
This is not a good plan. Any high end gaming PC should expect to have the graphics card upgraded a few times during its life.

Thanks for your advice!
Yes i have a 4k monitor (alienware 25 - Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080 A 240 Hz).
I would try to upgrade graphic card during the PC lifetime but I always have fear to have power issue due to more power usage of new components.

Too much money difference yet you're willing to pay for a 9900k? Dude, come on.
The single components chosen for this Pc are a compromise between money and stats... maybe not the better compromise but I have a maximum budget and it wasn't simple to choose between components :)

1) (alienware 25 - Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080 A 240 Hz). - that's not 4k? :)

2) if you have another, 4k monitor, the CPU is a lot less important in determining gaming performance at 4k. In fact the difference between an AMD R5 2600x and an Intel i9 9900k would be about 1-2%, while a 2080 ti gives 25-30% more performance than a 2080.
The savings from an AMD R5 would easily pay for a 2080 ti.

3) AMD's Zen 2 CPUs may affect the pricing of current CPUs, and/or provide CPUs even closer to Intel's for gaming at a lower price.

So better to wait for next week before deciding what needs to be compromised on budget. :)

1/2) yes, sorry, I want to buy a 4k monitor but atm I have a full HD and I have to wait a bit before I can buy another. :)
2) I have my order done... atm with my old PC with serious issues I need a new one... I can't wait anymore :(

You seriously can't wait 4 days to spend ~£2000+ on something?

What is the budget for the system? What is the price of the spec you posted above?

There might be a better choice

If you look at this page: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/ PCS have Review builds, which are fixed specs sold at (usually) discounted prices.

The Vortex Ultima R is €2.662,00 (including delivery, warranty, etc) and has an i7 9700k and an RTX 2080 ti

The last time I checked prices, it was ~£2250 for the Ultima deal, but £2500 for the same spec manually configured, so there is a big discount on it.

You should get the Ultima as it has a powerful Intel CPU (just as good as the 9900k for gaming) and lets you have the 2080 ti.

It even has the same case as the one you picked.

There is no need/ advantage to more than 16gb RAM for gaming

Also note that the AORUS Master and the Asus Z390-E both have built in wifi and BT 5

So you don't need a wifi card with either of those 2 motherboards

You may end up needing to cancel the order and resubmit, but you can always call them up to discuss. They have an Italian sales number, as well as the normal UK one, if that's cheaper or more convenient (though the Italian line is only open mon-Fri, while the UK one is open to 5pm today).

Let us know how things go :)

I have chosen to spend a bit of more money and change configuration as above:
