Yes I'm a Games Technical Art student using 3ds Max/Maya, Photoshop, UDK and what not. Although you only really need a maximum of 4gb of RAM for that sort of software.....

Dunno, I'd downgrade the ram to 16GB. Also as someone mentioned in another thread GTX675M is old tech. Its the same as GTX580M. Budgets tight, but if you deal with games, you might want to invest in a GTX680M. But yet again, I'll repeat myself as in the other thread, if you aren't a heavy duty gamer, your current choice will do.

I also just noticed the 5400RPM HDD. That will bottleneck your performance like crazy. Get at least a 7200RPM HDD. If you're editing heavy duty files that should cut down load times pretty well.

Ok i just dropped the 32gb of RAM to 16. I changed the GTX 675M to the AMD 7970 because the 680M costs way too much. Then I changed the 1TB 5400RPM to a 750GB 7200RPM because that was the biggest they offered at that speed.

Price now = £1503
