What is the system for?

I would have recommended faster RAM, a better M2 drive and the silver warranty..... but with regards to the processor it's impossible to comment without taking uses into consideration :D

It's for gaming.

I didn't go for a faster SSD because it's not that useful for games, it is the spec with the lowest PRICE per FPS INCREASE.
And, for what I've seen, almost all laptops can't take any extra fps by going further 2400 mhz. It seems like being double channel is the most important thing, and that I should have at least 8GB (I chose 16 GB because I don't want to buy a new one anytime soon).

I wouldn't have gone down that route personally, with the CPU, as it's not really advantageous in a gaming laptop. For price vs FPS, you would have been better with a standard HDD for example, so I'm not sure why this would be taken into consideration for middle ground.

I can't agree on the FPS comment on "laptops". The form factor of the system has no bearing on frequency utilisation.... it's down to chipset, CPU and the software. The Ryzen products make GREAT use of higher frequencies and on desktop systems 3200Mhz is often recommended with 3600mhz being a firm option for better performance.

16GB is a good plan, 2x8GB is the optimum right now IMO.

Anyway, it's a great laptop regardless. I just think you have over-spent where it's not necessary and under-spent where you could have had some better performance and more everyday usefulness. You'll love it regardless and get many hours of enjoyment from it :)

So, I amended it, I downgraded the CPU and upgraded the RAM.
AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12 Core CPU (3.1GHz-4.3GHz/70MB CACHE/AM4)

Change to: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.4GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)

16GB Corsair 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)

Change to: 16GB Corsair 2666MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)

I'll stick with the low speed SSD, because I just want a little bit faster booting speeds than what I would get with the HDD.
