I think thats a decent spec for you buti dont realy know what specific things you want,You may want to change the case to suit you also,How much space do you need? is 1tb too much,Too little?,Thats a pretty good monitor and looks like a decent spec,Might wanna wait for someone else to give some tips too.If you can see anything that needs changing just let me know.

HUGE edit: Misread your primary post as requiring 2 monitors. Herp.

Hi Keith,

The minimum requirements for PSO2 are very low and I have been unable to find any recommended specs, so the setup below has been tailored around your £1k budget to favour gaming performance. It also contains components which would allow your system to upgrade to newer processors and graphics cards further down the line, in turn saving you money in the long run should you decide to maintain a certain level of high quality setting playability. This specification includes:

  • The ASUS® P8Z77-V board to allow for future upgrades to an Ivy Bridge (3rd gen i7) processor allowing you to unlock the bandwidth potential of future GPUs with PCI-E 3.0
  • 600W 80% Bronze certified PSU to comfortably allow for additional storage drives and a high end GPU with high TDP
  • Iiyama E2473HDS 24" screen that, as I have purchased one for a friend, allows me to confirm their amazing image quality, refresh rate, brightnesss, contrast ratio etc.
  • A Geforce 570 1.5GB GPU

This spec is as follows:

Case
STYLISH PIANO BLACK ENIGMA CASE + 2 FRONT USB

Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i5-2500k Quad Core (3.30GHz, 6MB Cache) + HD Graphics

Motherboard
ASUS® P8Z77-V LX: USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATI®CrossFireX

Memory (RAM)
8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 4GB KIT)

Graphics Card
1.25GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 570 - 2 DVI, HDMI, DP - 3D Vision Ready

Memory - 1st Hard Disk
500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 16MB CACHE

Power Supply
600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (£59)

Monitor
IIYAMA E2473HDS 24" LED WIDESCREEN, 2 HDMI/DVI-D 1920x1080 (£159)

Price: £998.00 including VAT and delivery.

Configure Here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-sandy-bridge-pc/

All other options which have not been mentioned are defaults (Win 7 Home, 24x DVD-RW etc).

The strengths of this build remain immediate high performance in gaming, the outstanding 24" Iiyama screen and high prospects of future upgradeability with the 600W 80+ PSU and the Z77 ivy bridge / pci-e 3.0 ready board.

As no mention of your storage requirements has been made I have selected a 500GB primary HDD in order to allocate more funds to a superior monitor, GPU and motherboard.

Same thats why i went with amd because i thought that was better for a lower budget?
Also why have you got 2 monitors in there? :p

Misread his post.

Not enough information is available regarding PSO2's CPU vs GPU demand so I opted for a decent CPU to eliminate the possibility of a heavy CPU related bottleneck.
