What I've noticed, is that if you really care about the money, it will never be worth it.

Great specification you've put together there.

Regarding the money question, it's a waste of money if you feel that it is. Some customers are happy to spend £300 on a PC because they only need it for browsing the web, emails and writing documents. On the other hand some customers want the best gaming PC they can get for their money because they play lots of games and it's their hobby.

If gaming is your hobby, then I'm sure you see it as money well spent. Otherwise, try reducing the specification to meet what you consider a reasonable price.

1. Do you need a £149 gaming case? Would a £60 gaming case suffice?
2. Do you need the i7-970? If you want the best then yes, otherwise what about the i7-950?
3. Are you going to write Blu-ray discs or just watch them? Are you even going to watch Blu-ray at all?

I could write more points like the above for each option you've selected, but I think you get the idea. :)
