Need Help - Won a Bundle

Hey all,

Need some advice on a computer build. I was looking at building a system on PCSpecialist with a Ryzen 5900X, Asus Crosshair VIII Hero and 64GB Venegence RGB Pro 3200MHZ, BUT I have just won a competition with a Intel i7 10700K, MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus and 32GB Vengence RGB Pro 3600MHz.

I'd like to know if it would all be compatible with the rest of the setup and would all run smoothly together regarding bottlenecking etc.

The rest of the setup is:

Case: Fractal Meshify S2 Dark Tempered Glass

CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i RGB Platinum

GPU: 10GB Asus ROG Strix 3080

M.2 Drive: 2TB Samsung 970 Pro

Power: Corsair 850W RM Series

Thermal Paste: Arctic MX-4 Extreme

Sound Card: Asus Xonar AE 7.1

Network Card: Wireless Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200

USB Card: 2 Port (1x Type A, 1x Type C)

Thanks for your Help :)

Hey UBUYSA,

Unfortunately I can't as the Motherboard I have won isn't listed on the configurer and also the RAM I've won also isn't listed on there so i can't proceed on it.
We can only give advice on complete PCS builds I'm afraid. You might get help on a more general forum like Tom's Hardware. :)

PC Specialist only sell complete systems so you couldn't order without a motherboard, processor and RAM. This essentially takes you into the realm of doing a self build, which we can't comment on.

EDIT - beaten to it by @ubuysa and his fancy fingerwork.

oh really?
I might be wrong, but I seem to remember it because I was trying to put 3600mhz RAM into my new build and PCS didn't even list it.

When I asked, I was told it was due to some instability with Intel chipsets, but they're reinstated it for AMD chipsets.

Maybe it was just on specific boards (maybe Z390, as I notice there's no 3600mhz available on the config for those).

Oh ok, i'll need to do some digging.

I haven't built a system in about 10 years so ideally didn't wan't to build it myself haha

Well with a win like that there's never been a better time to get your hands inside a PC! There's plenty of online resources to help you, including some 'full PC build' videos on YouTube.
