The hard drive caddy within the Maelstrom can be removed as follows:
Remove the bottom 3 screwless restraints.
Remove the bottom 3 removeable front plates
Remove the four screws on the opposite side
Now you can pull the entire tray out through the front, making sure not to damage the fan at the front which is attached to the hard drive caddy.
Reverse the process to finish.
