You haven’t said what refresh rate or make and model the monitors are?Hi, I have read some posts on the forum and I would like to add some more information to my post.
I wish to use a PC for gaming, mostly for racing games (also COD and Baldurs Gate 3) on 3 QHD monitors. I can't find information if 4090 can have 3 QHD displays connected.
I am wondering if the GPU, processor, and motherboard are fine and they are not overkill. Also wondering if the cooling is ok.
I will be doing also photogrammetry projects but not that big that I would need an i9 (I think).
Appreciate any advice.
That motherboard is not compatible. The equivalent would be an X670E motherboard, the Tuf, the Strix or the Aorus. Any would be more than sufficient. Thanks so much sck451, I appreciate your input.
I am thinking about 7950x3d 16 core and motherboard upgrade to Aorus Z790 Master.
Thanks, I am reading about all of these motherboards right now, just learning cause my knowledge in this area is a bit basic. That motherboard is not compatible. The equivalent would be an X670E motherboard, the Tuf, the Strix or the Aorus. Any would be more than sufficient.
Any of the X670E boards I mentioned will be ample. As in, overkill. The differences between X670E and B650 are significant only in certain situations, which don't come up in a gaming PC. I would get the B650 board. But if you want massive quantities of PCIe and USB, any of those X670E boards will be fine. Thanks, I am reading about all of these motherboards right now, just learning cause my knowledge in this area is a bit basic.
So any of X670E you've mentioned should be fine for me? I don't need advanced audio features I guess cause I don't use 5.1.
I have noticed that x670 aorus uses hdmi 2.0 and not hdmi 2.1 but I don't know if this is disanvantage, I will be using ports on video card right?
64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 32GB)
GIGABYTE X670 AORUS ELITE AX (AM5, DDR5, PCIe 4.0, Wi-Fi 6E) ?
I read on benchmarks that it can support up to 5600MHZ.
Pardon if these are an obvious questions
