New Build for FS 2020

Have spent the afternoon reading through the recent threads about good builds for the new flight sim and have adjusted my choices accordingly. I will be purchasing an RTX 2060 Super (EVGA?) to add myself. Has anyone any suggestions for improvements/changes? I have a few questions:

Is the standard thermal paste sufficient for CPU cooling?​

Will the very long 29cm cards fit in this case?​

I will add up up to five more data discs to end up with 3 x 3.5" & 3 x 2.5" SSDs - basic question - I presume all gaming motherboards allow up to six connections?​

​

Given the number of data discs, is the 750W power supply overkill?​

I currently have the HP 27FW 3KS64AA, 1080 monitor; I would like to upgrade to a 1440 one at some point. How does that work with the suggested GPU? ​

Thanks @Nursemorph for your reply. No worries about the delay. This is a retirement present to myself and FS 2020 has come out at exactly the right time! Overall budget is about £2,200. Thanks for answering questions.

After my original post I found out some more so have now worked out most of the answers and have already ordered (29th) and, subsequently, made two amendments . . . which is typical for me!

I now have a new 1440 monitor ready to go and will order a 2070S separately. Does any particular card stand out from the rest? I have this in mind: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super WINDFORCE OC 3x 8G mainly because it is slightly cheaper. I don't mind paying a little more if there is a noticeable performance advantage with another one.

This is the spec I've ended up with (relevant bits anyway), hopefully it will be more than good enough for high specs . . . I contemplated an M.2 drive, but there is a limit on the budget!

Can I ask you one related question . . . my existing computer is in a large gaming case. I am now considering transferring it to a much smaller case so I can keep this new one, at least until the other gives out, just for gaming. Current one is a seven year old, overclocked, i7 3rd gen on an ASUS P8Z77-V LX with a 750Ti GPU. The CPU is overclocked so I need reasonable cooling. Can you suggest a suitable case for an ATX motherboard?

Many thanks @Nursemorph , have taken your advice with the cooler and M.2, but have kept an SSD for the flight sim.

Re the case, so long as it has adequate cooling, the smaller the better. It will only be used for normal day to day work with a single added data disc. Can you suggest someone who could help with this?

The current i7 is overclocked to 4.4GHz. It was bought overclocked as part of a bundle and it has behaved flawlessly for 8 years with a lot of use. If I do change the case, would it be more sensible to leave it as it is or return it to its factory default, which would help with the cooling? Current normal running temp is 40-42 degrees?
