Specific issues with the PCS liquid cooler and the motherboard choice, Gigabyte have seen a fall in quality and generally advice would be to take a Asus out of options available, and the PCS liquid coolers have a bad history, pump failures/RGB failures and so on... I'd strongly recommend looking at a H100i or H115i on that CPU.

Storage configuration can be optimised better, im not hearing/reading good things about that particular case (indeed, a better case choice would also mean questioning the need for addition fans, and wouldnt recommend getting additional fans here i'd say buy separately and look at corsair or Noctua)

Very valid point above about GPU/Monitor pairing, but also should be noted that a 3080 on a 750W PSU is against Nvidias own recommendations (850W) and likely to mean power issues/complications when nearing full draw. Generally speaking its a good idea to over spec the PSU anyway for proper headroom and future upgrades, if looking at the 3080/similar tier i'd suggest a 1000W PSU minimum.

If you can answer the above questions about budget/monitor and uses, it will give a much clear picture on what sort of spec would be most suited and try to get the best out of your budget. Your spec above however is something I would strongly advise against.
And the link from the post to forum page does make offering alternatives a huge amount easier, if you could please include it it would be very helpful.

More information is needed:

- What are your uses? Gaming? Editing? Streaming? All of them?
- Assuming gaming, what monitor are you using? Make and model or resolution and refresh rate. The GPU is paired to the monitor to avoid over-spending...a 3080 would be pretty much wasted on a 1080p screen, for example
- Again, assuming gaming, what sort of games? AAA titles? Strategy? Games with mods?
- Is the above budget your maximum?

It would also be useful if you could go back to the post to forum page and include the Unique configurable URL from the bottom of said page please? Makes it easier for people to just edit the spec rather than redoing one from scratch
I am sorry, I've included the URL link now.

It is for AAA gaming in mind (although I do play a lot of lower-spec strategy games too), I'd like to take advantage of ray-tracing where it is an option in certain games.

My current monitor is 1080p (I don't have specific model for you, as am writing this away from home), but I do intend to purchase 4K monitors in the very near future.

My budget was around the £2.5k mark with a little wiggle room above this if necessary, so what I chose was pretty much bang on the button.

What budget do you have for the monitor?
