I'd suggest quite a few changes there -- you can definitely get better for your money!

Could you say
  • what games you'll be playing
  • what monitor you'll be using
  • what the budget is
  • if you've ordered it already
And if you could post the configuration link that would also be really helpful.

I believe this system would cost about the same and would provide a better experience.
I have put a few comments to explain the changes.
This would pair nicely with a 1440p 144hz monitor. If you are planning on using a 1080p monitor I would suggest a cheaper graphics card as you would be wasting money.

Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 GAMING CASE (A great case for less money)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i5 Six Core Processor i5-12400F (2.5GHz) 18MB Cache (better value for money than AMD at the moment, if you can stretch to it get the 12600)
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING B660M-PLUS WIFI D4: mATX, LGA1700, USB 3.2, SATA 6GBs - ARGB Ready (better quality motherboard with WIFI)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) (Faster RAM is good for gaming)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR (Ideal for 1440p gaming and cheaper than the 6700XT)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W) (Fast boot drive for OS and high use programs intel is cheaper but out of stock)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) (for games and storage much quieter and faster than HDD drive)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET (much better quality, quieter and will allow for future upgrades)
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 120 Series RGB High Performance Liquid Cooler (Should be ample for 12400 with 3060Ti, might want to increase if you go to 12600)
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT

Halo infinite, witcher 3 probably battlefield 2042
Haven't decided on a exact monitor yet but a 1440p would be in that range.
Budget would be around 1600 euro.
haven't ordered yet.

Here'd be my recommendations, gone slightly over budget, but I feel its well worth it if you're able to spend the exta

Case
COOLERMASTER MASTERBOX TD500 MESH ARGB GAMING CASE Kept your original case choice. Lian Li 215 or Corsair 4000D Airflow would save a bit of cash
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Six Core CPU (3.5GHz-4.4GHz/35MB CACHE/AM4) Basically the same performance as the X, just saves some cash
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! Higher quality motherboard
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) Want fast RAM, especially for AMD
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR I'd personally go for the 3060TI > 6700XT, plus it's cheaper
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) Boot SSD for WIndows and applications
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) Dedicated games drive
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Will power this build fine but for extra upgradability an 850W would be ideal here
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 100 RGB V3 Series High Performance CPU Cooler (AMD) Slightly more capable cooler, adds some RGB too
Thermal Paste

You've left the old WiFi card in @JUNI0R was that intentional?
For the extra £10 i would of said the AX200 (£18) card with bluetooth was a better option.

Did wonder about the 5600 as well, the older 3600 CPU was fine on its stock cooler, im not so familiar with the 5000 series equivilent though... is that ok on stock coolers or does it need something with a bit more clout?

Doesnt really make a huge difference to the end spend really, just wondered.

Stock cooler is fine on the 5600x so I imagine it would be more fine on the 5600

Nope, not intentional, just missed it!

The stock AMD coolers are fine for Ryzen 5's. They aren't incredible but get the job done which is what they're designed to do really. Although if the person has a primary CPU heavy use (video editing, the like) then it's well worth spending the £20 or so on a simple tower cooler, would make a huge difference to temps and noise.

The 3070, which comes to £1453, or the 6700XT, which comes to £1384. The 3070 is, by a small margin, stronger, and has better video encoding if you do streaming. Nvidia's cards support DLSS, while AMD's support FSR: currently DLSS is more prevalent but that may well change over the next few years.

I'd be inclined to choose the 6700XT, unless you plan on streaming.
