New GPU 3080TI rumors and question regarding upgrade

So there are currently rummors (thanks to MSI leaks yet again) that 3080ti could be releasing in may.

Now i have been wondering how is it with PC specialist and stock around release of new product?
I have ordered a liquid series pc last week with 3080 in it, now if the rumors are true, i will definitely want to switch. But will that even be possible? Will PC specialist have it available in the builder on release date, or it takes months before it is an option?

As an example, how it was with release of 11900k or the 30xx series, were they available from the get go, at least as preorders?

PCS are a partner so they have stocks for release day or whenever stocks are first available if it's a paper launch which is almost a certainty.

will they also be available for liquid series, being watercooled from get go, or is that too much to predict right now?

xx80TI versions usually are almost reaching power of titans, or in this case 3090, but have less memory. They are also at decent affordable price, unlike titans or 3090.

The rumor has it that 3080ti will have 12gb VRAM and 10200 cuda cores, where 3090 has 24gb VRAM and 10400 or so. Price should be around 1000-1090 dollars msrp

You’d have to ask PCS, there would likely be a delay before waterblocks are available.
well, thanks for your answer, i have decided i am not gonna wait and just bite the bullet and upgraded to 3090 :D Now this pc gonna be really my dream pc. But my wallet is crying xD

If you moved to the 3090 I can’t imagine you will be much longer as others have been built quite quickly. I wonder if it’s some other part holding you up?

why would anyone buy that if it is more expensive than STRIX 3090, which is like the most expensive variant
That's the asian markets where prices are just crazy, the 3090 is far more expensive than that in those regions, it's just the way it is for them.

It's not really relevant to the primary markets.

ah i see, i am expecting the price of 3080ti to be quite expensive tho. 3080 strix goes for like 1200 euro here in denmark, 3090 strix something around 2500, i kinda expect the 3080ti strix to be somewhere in the range of 1800-2000 tbh
