So basiclly your thread of thought is PC Specialist only sell top grade Cards in computers in SLI Mode to people that want to show off or should they only sell a lower spec card in SLI Mode so as not to keep up with the Jone's :-(

I'm not sure what to make of that.

I'm just a geek who doesn't spend his money properly, we don't mean to show off, we're just competitive when it comes to making our PC's perform for games. The thing is you can still get very good performance from the lower spec cards (the GTX 460's I have are mid-range cards actually at a great price, so I'm sort of showing people what they can get without having to buy the £400 cards (1 x GTX 460 is about £150-160))

I totally agree with your comment my post was not for you it was for LDUK if you wish to have the best spec computer on offer then fair play, i certainly would not consider anyone as a show off, i will be having a new one ordered in November to beat the Coming VAT increase and it will definitely will be in SLI as is my old one and it will be top notch :)

Oh I didn't mean show off in a "pig headed" kind of way. I mean a way of having fun. Just like people with their cars. Some people want to get the best out of what they have. Hell, why do you think I got a GTX 480 lol

My Apologies for misunderstanding your sentiment.

could not find one game i play that supports it. :(

Any game ported to or from the PS3 or Xbox 360 (read every game released in the last 3 years on pc pretty much) has some sort of physx engine which the cards can support with hardware.

The PhysX engine and SDK are available for the following platforms:

Apple Mac OS X
Windows
Linux (32-bit)
Nintendo Wii[2]
Sony PlayStation 3[3][4]
Microsoft Xbox 360[5]
