New Laptop - Writing

Hi all,

I posted in here a good few years back (2014 I think!) asking for specs for a gaming laptop which I bought and has served me well until now.

I'm looking at buying a new laptop, this time mostly for writing web content, social media, small amounts of website management (personal not business, so wouldn't be heavy 8 hours a day use).

If the laptop could run something like Stardew Valley, that would be great but not massively required as I mostly game on console nowadays.

I ideally want something that is small/light and doesn't hugely break the bank.

Any help or suggestions definitely would be appreciated! I have no idea where to start as it's been so long since I've looked for a laptop.

Hi @Kaykiie - what is your budget?

Given you're looking at a laptop, what are your main drivers for it? Thin and Light for transport? Big Screen? etc.? Any pointers you can give all help narrow it down

Thanks for the response, looking for something small/light and ideally the lower end of £500-700 max.
