In terms of connections, your graphics card (I think...) has the required outputs to connect to the monitor. If you're looking to play games at the highest resolution on the monitor (1920x1440) then you're probably going to want to upgrade or you'll need to lower settings in games.

I guess it depends on what you're going to be using the PC/monitor for.

Merry Christmas to you too! :santa:

Depends on what you are planning to do. For gaming at high settings and higher resolution you may want to consider a newer/better gpu

If you are looking for Hi-res for games, then a 4K display is the way: however, you will need a very powerful graphics card for it. I've got one and if I'm running 4k, WoW will get less than 50fps (sometimes as low as 38fps - admittedly, with everything on ultra). Setting the resolution to 1080p (such as the monitor you are looking at), I can get steady 110fps+ with the same configuration. This is on a Nvidia 980 GTX GPU with 4Gb and Quad Core 3.5Ghz CPU: so 4k gaming, I say you need at least dual 4Gb cards or wait until the 8Gb cards come out (and you may need two of them).
