Ordered my lovely new laptop last Friday, its just entered pre-production and I cant wait!
I will upload pics and write up a review once it arrives and I have been using it for a week. But its so exciting and I'm not sure I can wait much longer.. :D

Good question. I'm not too keen on the tiles for Windows 8, don't get me wrong, on a touch screen computer, or phone it would be awesome, but I just feel that on my laptop I'd prefer 7.

Also, I heard Minecraft is difficult to get going on Windows 8! :O

Have I made the right choice going for 8???

Use 7 at work and have Vista on my laptop which had been trouble free.

My laptop came on Wednesday and i stuck with Windows 7 simply because i like it. I know it works, i know how to use it so i thought itd be easier to stay with it. Also, there seems to be some driver issues with Windows 8, so 7 just seems easier and trouble free to me. Thats my opinion anyway :)

Same reason I got W7, just easier to stick with what you know + what has been tried, tested and declared in working order of most aspects (most importantly compatibility) for a long time!

I went with Win 8, im a gambler :) To be honest, majority of users sooner or later will upgrade to win 8, it s matter of time, microsoft will release Service pack in a few months and hopefully will make some more improvements. And while they on it, i will learn how to use win 8 :) just my 2c

I went for Windows 8 also. Looked into the boot up times and what not. Change can be good sometimes ( I hope haha ).
Got an e-mail today telling me my Optimus 15" had gone into testing, although when I checked the progress it said it was still just going into the build phase. Can't complain though I'm on my 7th day. I think others have been waiting A LOT longer in pre-production.

Just got a phone call from my mum and it has been delivered safley to her office. Sadly however I cannot use it as I have college and gym and wont get in till about 7.... But omg I'm so excited I may explode!! woop woo :D
