Hi guys, I'm looking to get a new machine after 6 years using my old MacBook Pro.

I have built an initial spec which i have included below but it would be great to get some advice if there are any tweaks / edits that people think i should make to improve / optimise the machine. (I have a proper sound treated studio so the tower have to be very quiet)

I'm going to be using this for advanced music production on Ableton Live overloaded with VST plug ins + hardware.

Please let me know if you think I'm over spending or missing something that should be included.

There's 3200MHz RAM and 3200MHz RGB RAM. You want the normal stuff without the RGB. As it's cheaper and your case has no side window.

Drop the graphics card, the CPU has onboard graphics. Or do you need to connect multiple monitors? If so, how many and what resolutions?

If optimising for silence and wanting to spend the money, the RMx PSU series is semi passive - i.e. will cool itself without its fan under many load conditions and be literally silent

If you don't need wifi, drop the card. If you do need wifi, go for the £18 card that offers a lot more options and value.

Go wit the Intel 660p SSD (under the M.2 menu) rather than the QVO as it;s generally faster.
