Hi Guys,

I have finaly ordered my PC, see spec below, I will be adding my own parts from my previous build to the machine which I have highlighted in red as I have not had to purchase everything from PCS

ase
ZALMAN Z11 PLUS BLACK MID TOWER CASE I went for this case as it has good reviews, nice looking and plus I have a few blue LED fans I can add to it from my old case which should make it look even nicer :), anyone rate this case?
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-3570K (3.4GHz) 6MB Cache I went for the K version so that I can overclock in the future when things start getting old
Motherboard
ASUS® P8Z77-V LX: USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATI®CrossFireX - I went for this Mobo as I prefer to use only 1 GPU, is this the right choice?
Memory (RAM)
2GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (1 x 2GB) I will be adding my own 8gb Corsiar Vengance ram to replace this but could not select just select no ram
Graphics Card
NONE, I ALREADY HAVE A GRAPHICS CARD - I will add my EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2GB
Memory - 1st Hard Disk
500GB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD5003AZEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm) I went for the 500gb version as I have had my old 500gb bog standard seagate drive for 4 years and only filled up 150gb as I literally only stoe games on my PC, no pictures, videos, nothing apart from games, do you think I will see a speed difference with the WD Caviar black?
1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM
Power Supply
CORSAIR 650W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX650 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE (£69) - I will only be using x1 GPU so hopefully this PSU is good enough
Processor Cooling
Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler (£19) - I already own a Hyper 212 EVO but I when I come to overclock I will probably invest in a H80i so I thought I would go for the Intel triple copper heatpipe, will this be good enough for none overclocking and does anyone know any idle/load temps when using one of these as its hard to find any info on these online or should I stick to my Hyper 212 evo instead?
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Facilities
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs
USB Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 4 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS

The motherboard you selected will be fine as you don't plan on adding another 670 GPU in SLI and
the 650W PSU will be adequate for your system.
The Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler is fine if not overclocking.
Everything you plan on doing looks good to me.

I maybe saying this a Bit late but the psu you have selected is pretty noisy and a lot of the reviews I read where bad. I only done my research after buying the thing lol. I cannot hear any of my other fans over the psu until I manually make my gpu fan 100%. Apart from that it does what it needs lol my only problem with it is the sound it makes.

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully its not insanely loud but the saving grace is that I usually use headphones when gaming so hopefully I won't be able to hear it

if you already have a older/slower hard-drive, why dont you get an ssd to speed things up and add your old hard drive?

I have this case, and I love it so much. Be careful though, the clips on the inside left (which hold the acrylic window in place) are very weak and snap off easily. Also, the front of the case is an absolute monster to remove, I still haven't managed it.

Yeah I was guna go for a full tower case but I liked the look of the Zalman so much I had to go for it and its so well priced, what spec is the rest of your PC and is the well vented?

Thanks for the heads up on the Window/ front of case :)

FX-6300, HD 7750, 12GB Ram. It's very well vented, I have added another intake fan though, other parts got a little hotter after I added liquid CPU cooling.
