Yes its just for the tower and just for video editing apps like sony vegas pro and photo editing apps like photoshop and im just using a standard 21 inch lcd monitor. Ok whats the minimum i could go for a decent enough PC?Hello everyone Im looking to buy a new PC which is for editing video, photos, and music and that is fast and reliable. My budget is 1800 pounds and no more than that. I would appreciate feedback asap as the PC i have at the moment is running very slow and cant handle video editing apps very well. Thanking you Samuel
I forgot to mention that i want the PC to have an blu ray drive so i would need a different case which one would you recommend? This is a very generous build coming in over £300 under budget. IMO there's absolutely no reason to spend any more than this.
The CPU is an excellent 8 core 16 thread chip that has amazing multi-thread processing. The only reason to consider the 3900X would be if you are properly into professional video production and looking to render very large 4k videos.
Motherboard is fine for what you are looking for. You could go for a more expensive X570 board but I don't see the need here.
RAM I've went with 32GB, this is only for heavy photoshop and video effects. You could possibly get by with 16GB but the budget allows so I've went with 32.
The 2060 is a very powerful GPU and will help when rendering effects using Vegas. It will also help drive photoshop.
I've given 4TB of storage. 3TB conventional and 1TB for system/programs and working.
Power and cooling are enough for your system with professional use in mind.
The wireless card you will need to look at. If you want to use wifi sparingly then it's a good choice. If it'll never be used then I would just remove it. If you rely on your wireless then I would select the AX200 card.

So the hdd you selected is of the same quality as the seagate one is it just as reliable is what i meanIt already has 3 fans, plus the additional 2 from the cooler.... you would be fine.. The only reason I selected the 3TB is that it's a 7200RPM drive. The 4TB is fine though, for general storage
