4k on a build like this would be a good choice for Flight Sim, just gives you loads more real estate.

GSync is where it matches the refresh rate of the monitor with what you're graphics card is putting out.

When you say you use two monitors, do you game on one and use the other for productivity or do you actually use both for gaming? If the second is used for gaming, is it just for controller displays? I'm not overly familiar with Flight Sims.

In that case as a secondary monitor, you wouldn't need such a high quality screen with gsync etc as wouldn't benefit, so you can get one in matching size (still 4k cos why not!), then that would be ample for nice media etc:

Takes you slightly over £500, but I do think it's worth it having a decent primary display for a build like this, and should last some time.
