New PC

I dont know to much about PCs and though this was a good deal. So far I have ordered a new monitor also the ALIENWARE AW2521HFL Full HD 24.5" LED Gaming Monitor - White but have started to think now what else will I need to order.

Any advise?
Also should I get more Ram to add to this machine and if so can some help with how many slots this will have free if any.

It all depends what he'll be using it for, but assuming it's the same thing my 12 year old would use if for (games and occasionally homework) I think you will be fine. 16gb of ram is fine and that system should run games at full details given the monitor resolution.

Longer term there are things you could upgrade (to be fair that's rarely the case) but for now I'd leave as is.
