Received my new laptop on Thursday (15 working days delivery for me) and after an issue with my AMD driver was resolved with help from SmokeDarKnight, ubuysa and PCS support, I'm happy to say "I Love this laptop".:wub::wub:

The best review I've read on the Vortex IV was by "Radiocaf" (see link below) and I can't improve on his review except to add that I find the "matte finish" on my laptop a bit "mottled" when close up. I've no dead pixels or anything, it just looks different to the glossy finish I've used in the past. I'm happy with it though so don't let it concern any future buyers out there! I've no issue with the speakers as some others have mentioned on the forum. Once the X-fi3 driver is installed, the sound is good in my opinion. Some people have complained about the fan noise levels? This was a major concern for me. Do they have superman hearing power?! I've no issue with noise from my laptop, it's very quiet so don't let noise levels worry you. Also, I'd like to confirm that DPD are the best delivery firm out there. I loved the tracking system they use and it saved me taking time from work to receive the laptop. I can see why PCS use DPD.
