Newbie to PC building- could use feedback

Hello!
I've been a gaming laptop user for the longest time, and want to transition over to a proper gaming desktop.
I know very little about building a pc, but I've had a try at making one.
I've got a budget of about £3000.
I would love some feedback about the build so far, and anyways I could save a bit.

Thank you!

If it's just for gaming, then I think I'd upgrade the CPU to an 9800X3D (the 7900X has more cores, but no X3D cache for improving game performance) and the GPU to a 9070XT (much more performance for a tiny increase in cost).

I'd also optimise the RAM, as 6000Mhz CL30 is the sweet-spot for AM5 CPUs - especially for gaming.

It's also cheaper to split the 8TB SSD into 2x4TB SSDs (and gives a little more security).

I'd also not recommend that case as it costs more than the much better Corsair FRAME 4000D version (which is only on the config tool in white, so would have to be shipped in from elsewhere)...

Hi Tony!
Thanks for the quick reply mate.
Yes, it's only for gaming and the occasional work related PowerPoint.
The cases cost the same on the config tool. What's the benefits of the Frame over the tempered glass? Is it just the amount of available fans and usb slots?
I honestly don't mind it being in white, as I don't want to delay the build by waiting on the case delivery.
Ah you updated the quote as I was typing out this reply, thanks so much for your time mate!

The FRAME 4000D is the latest version, and is modular so is much more configurable/customisable as your needs change...for example the mountings for things like fans / GPU / motherboard are movable.

The older 4000D is not a terrible case in its own right, but no point paying a premium for an older/weaker case if the other is available.

The new Frame model is quite remarkable, I suspect it’s a loss leader product ie, they’re making a loss or just breaking even to gain brand loyalty which is a long term investment which comes with risk.

But the modularity of the new Frame RS model is more what you’d normally find in very low volume boutique high end cases costing more like £300 upwards, the time and expense that’s gone into that case to work out all the interchangeable brackets and positions is no small thing. The price they’re selling it for is an absolute steal, from my recollection, there’s never been a case of that kind of calibre sub £100 before, it’s an incredible case in so many ways
